Winter in the USA!
I’m over in the States and met up with my coach Grant Jamieson, a kiwi guy who’s the Programme Director of the race team at Mt Hutt in NZ and lives in Park City, Utah.
The skiing here in Colorado is amazing!
We have been training at Loveland skifield, joining in with some World Cup teams, such as the French, Croatian and Spanish. It’s great to ski with my European mates! So that together with well injected and prepared slopes, has made for great preparation training for the World Cup and Nor-Am’s in Aspen and Loveland starting next weekend.
Bring it on!
It’s been great fun as well – Staying in a ski lodge in Silverthorne village, has been reminding Grant and me, as Ruapehu/North Island ski lovers, of ski lodge life at Whakapapa!
